It will not be easy for Indians to go to America now. A new rule has been issued for students and visitors going to America recently. The American embassy has announced in India that from now on, F, M and J Visa will have to make their social media accounts not private but public. This rule has come into force with immediate effect.
Rules will be issued on these people
This rule issued by the US has come into force to all applicants under the F, M and J visa categories. Let us tell you that F visas are students studying in American colleges and universities. M is for people participating in visa, non-academic or vocational training programs. J Visa, people who join the Exchange Visitor Program (eg Research Scholars, Teachers, Trainees etc.) are included.

New decision on entry permission in America
According to the information given by the US Embassy, making social media public becomes easy to confirm a person. This new decision has been taken for the permission of entry in America. This will keep transparency and safety in visa process.
This social media account will have to be public
You will have to publicly public your facebook, Instagram, X platform, linkedin, youtube and if tick account. Apart from these, any other platform that shows your online activity will also have to public.
