Jail sentence to 82 leaders of former Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s party’s party, know the whole matter

Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has suffered a major setback. 82 leaders of his party have been sentenced to jail in one case. It is being told that a Pakistan Anti-Terrorism Court on Friday sentenced 82 workers of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to four months in jail in connection with violent protests last year.

Since this decision of the court, there has been a panic between Imran Khan’s party and his workers in Pakistan. Explain that more than 1,500 PTI supporters were arrested after protests on 26 November 2024 in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. These people demonstrated the government to pressurize the government to release party founder Imran Khan. Imran has been in jail since August 2023. After the hearing, the court at Rawalpindi convicted 82 accused and sentenced them to four months imprisonment and a fine of Rs 15,000 thousand. (Language)
