Jailonsky on the question of a journalist whether he would leave his post for peace, said “If you really need to leave my post to achieve peace then I am ready.” He said, “I can leave it for NATO.” Jailonsky’s commentary seems targeted at the recent suggestions of US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin that elections should be held in Ukraine, while Ukrainian law prohibits elections during martial law.
