External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar meets American NSA Jack Sullivan.
San Francisco (US): External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is in Washington to coordinate between the current US presidential administration and the upcoming Trump administration. He has started bilateral talks with various leaders and US officials to strengthen India-US relations. In this episode, Jaishankar met National Security Advisor (NSA) Jake Sullivan at the White House (the official residence and office of the US President).
During this, both the leaders had a comprehensive discussion on the progress of India-US strategic partnership. Jaishankar is currently on an official visit to America. During this time, he is scheduled to meet his American counterpart Antony Blinken and other senior members of the administration of outgoing President Joe Biden. Along with this, he will also meet officials of the Trump administration.

Jaishankar said in a post on social media platform ‘X’ on Thursday, “There was a comprehensive discussion on the progress of India-US strategic partnership.” Also, views were exchanged on current regional and global developments.” The External Affairs Minister is also likely to hold meetings with the senior leadership of the newly elected Donald Trump administration. The top Indian diplomat will also chair a conference of Consuls General of India during his ongoing visit to the US from December 24 to 29. (Language)
