External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar meeting with Indian communities in Germany
Berlin: India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met representatives of the Indian community in the city of Berlin, Germany on Friday. During this time, he not only discussed the progress of India-Germany relations, but also described the role of overseas Indians as important. Dr. Jaishankar described the meeting as a “good and meaningful conversation”. He said that the contribution of overseas Indians in the depth strategic partnership between India and Germany is extremely important. Addressing the members of the community, the minister urged him to bring more and more people to the story of India’s progress, culture and values.

Jaishankar said, “I urged the representatives of the Indian community to share the story of India’s development with others and play a role in realizing our full potential of our bilateral relations. Today’s India is full of confidence, and we are ready to renew the world.” He also mentioned that the role of overseas Indians to take India-Germany cooperation in science, technology, innovation, business and cultural fields is like a bridge.

Jayashankar appreciated the achievements of Indians settled in Germany and said that he has not only made a special place in the German society with his hard work and dedication, but has also strengthened the positive image of India.
