Usha Vance, wife of US Vice President JD Vance, described her visit to India as extremely memorable and called it ‘the experience of once in life’. He also said that all three of his children started considering Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their ‘Baba’.
It was really special to meet Prime Minister Modi. My children saw him, he was troubled by sleep in Paris and when he saw an Indian person whose beard and hair were white, he immediately put him in the category of grandfather. My children are very impressed with them, they love them very much. Usha told how PM Modi made a special place in her heart by giving a birthday gift to our five -year -old child that day. When we went to their house, they just came running and they were hugging them. PM Modi was very kind and generous towards children.
Usha said that there was a very useful conversation between JD and the Prime Minister and it was an opportunity for us to strengthen personal relations. This was really a special journey of a lifetime for us. My children never went to India. JD himself has grown up knowing a lot about this country. For JD and me, I think it could not have been more special than this.
We got an opportunity to see some of the best sites in North India. Well, we are waiting for our next journey and trying to go to parts of the country from where my family comes, one was one of the best one. Watching the Taj Mahal in the morning .. At that time the sun was rising… the blue sky behind, everything was amazing.
