North Korea leader Kim Jong Un
Seoul: The tension between North Korea and the US is well known. Meanwhile, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has vowed to double his efforts to fully prepare his nuclear power for a war with the US and its allies. State media gave information about this on Tuesday. North Korea has also unveiled a new ‘platform’, which is probably designed to fire more powerful intercontinental ‘ballistic missiles’ capable of targeting the US mainland.
‘Kim will test weapons’
Kim’s threat comes at a time when outside experts believe that Kim will test weapons as a provocation before the US presidential election in November. Recently, North Korea has also resumed releasing balloons carrying garbage towards South Korea. In a speech on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of his government on Monday, Kim said that North Korea is facing a “serious threat”. He described the US-led regional military bloc as turning into a nuclear-based bloc.

According to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim said such developments motivate North Korea to enhance its military capabilities. According to KCNA, Kim said North Korea will “double its measures and efforts to make all the country’s armed forces, including the nuclear force, fully ready for war.” North Korea’s main Rodong Sinmun newspaper on Sunday published a photo of Kim inspecting a 12-axle missile launch vehicle.
