Kim has banned eating and selling hot dogs in the country. This is being seen as a step to eliminate the influence of Western culture. It has been clearly stated by the police and market administration that if anyone is caught selling, eating or cooking it, strict action will be taken.

Apart from the ban on hot dogs, Kim Jong Un has also warned couples against divorce. Kim has said that if any couple plans to divorce, they will be sent to labor camps. Divorce is considered a crime in North Korea. It is being told that those who take divorce there can face jail for at least 6 months.
