According to a report by Russian government media, all 49 people aboard the plane were killed in an aircraft accident in the remote eastern region of Russia on Thursday. This information was given by emergency officials.
It was an Antonov AN-24 passenger aircraft on a flight of Angara Airlines. Local time at around 1 pm, the aircraft lost contact with the control room on the ground. At that time the aircraft was flying a few kilometers from the airport of Tanda city. Tayanda is located in the Amur region of Russia. The aircraft left from Khabarovsk, then stopped at the BlagoVECHENSS and was finally going to Tayanda. The aircraft had a total of 49 people, including six crew members. Emergency officials said that no emergency signal was received from the aircraft nor any technical fault was reported before it disappeared from the radar.
The burnt debris of the passenger aircraft Antonov AN-24, who crashed in the Far East of Russia, has been found in an inaccessible hilly area, about 16 km from the city of Tanda. The city has a population of around 30,000.

Governor Vasili Orlov of Amur region has confirmed that the fuslage of the aircraft has been recovered, but has not confirmed any death yet. Transportation investigative agencies have started criminal investigation under violation of necessary security rules regarding this accident.
The aircraft was twin turboprop Antonov AN-24 manufactured in the Soviet period, which was over 50 years of age. According to Civil Aviation Authorities, the aircraft was released in 2021 a new ‘aircraft certificate’, allowing the aircraft to fly by 2036.
