Muizzu praised relations with India
Meanwhile, Maldivian President Mohammed Muizzu on Thursday praised Maldives’ relations with India. He said that the tenure of Indian High Commissioner Munu Mahawar has been important in bilateral relations and during his tenure there was new energy in friendship and bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Mahawar came to meet President Muizzu for a farewell call and during this the President appreciated the efforts of the High Commissioner to strengthen relations between the two countries. According to a statement issued by the President’s Office, the High Commissioner reiterated India’s support for the development of Maldives and also appreciated the leadership and collaborative approach of President Muizzu.
