An important ceremony held at the White House was suddenly interrupted when a minor girl suddenly fainted during the ongoing question-answer season with US President Donald Trump. This unexpected incident occurred soon after taking oath as Administrator of ‘Medicare and Medicade Services’ (CMS) of Dr. Mehmat Oz.
According to sources, the unconscious girl has been identified as Philomena, 11 -year -old granddaughter of Dr. Oz. Soon after the incident, the White House colleagues handled journalists and photographers out of the oval office while handling the situation. An officer was heard saying on the video saying, “Everyone goes out, please go away.” Another colleague told the media, “No photo!”
Dr. Oz was formally sworn in by Robert F. Kennedy Junior as the 17th Administrator of CMS. Trump welcomed him, saying that Dr. Oz will work to strengthen and preserve services for senior citizens and Medicade beneficiaries.
After the incident, Trump himself took stock of the girl’s condition. Later, a White House official issued a brief statement saying, “A minor member of the family fainted during the swearing -in ceremony of Dr. Oz in the Oval Office. We are happy to say that he is fine now.”
According to the CMS website, Dr. Mehmat Oz, a famous cardiothoresic surgeon and former TV show host. It is now leading this huge agency with a budget of $ 1.7 trillion. The agency ensures health services for over 160 million people in the US.
In his statement, Oz said, “I thank President Trump and Secretary Kennedy who assigned the responsibility to make America healthy again. We are dedicated to the service of deprived youth, disabled and senior citizens. I am ready to work on the President’s agenda.”
