Police in India’s neighboring country Nepal has taken strict action against about two dozen Indian citizens. According to the information, Nepal police have arrested 23 Indian citizens simultaneously. Police of Himalayan country Nepal on Monday carried out the action of arrest of a large number of Indian citizens. What is the charge of Indian people?

In fact, Nepal police have arrested 23 Indian citizens in Bagmati province of the country. The Nepal Police has accused these Indian citizens of running an online gambling racket. Deputy Superintendent of Police Apil Kumar Bohra has told about the action that these arrests have been made from a two -storey building in Budhni Lankanth municipality, 10 km north of Kathmandu.

What was recovered in the raid?

The police officer has informed that he raided the building on the basis of a secret information. 23 Indian citizens were arrested from the building. Police have said that 81 thousand rupees cash, 88 mobile phones and 10 laptops have also been seized from Indian citizens. Police have accused the arrested Indian citizens under the Anti -Gambling Act.

10 Indians arrested a week ago

About a week ago, the Nepal Police had busted an online speculative racket of more than three billion rupees and arrested 24 people, including ten Indian citizens. A special police team raided two houses in Saneepa area of ​​Lalitpur metropolis on Saturday and arrested 10 Indian citizens and 14 Nepali citizens, who were found cheating people in the name of online gaming. Police of Nepal had said that most of the arrested Indian people are from Uttar Pradesh. The accused were running illegal online bet from two rented houses in Saneepa in Lalitpur. (input language)
