Beijing: The possibilities of improvement in relations between India and China are continuously increasing. The bilateral meeting between PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held on the sidelines of the G-20 meeting in Rio de Janeiro a month ago had reduced the tension that had been going on for 4 years between the two countries to a great extent. Now to take this link further, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval reached Beijing on Tuesday to participate in the India-China Special Representatives (SR) talks to be held on Wednesday.
The talks are aimed at restoring bilateral relations that have been affected for more than four years due to the military standoff in eastern Ladakh. Doval will hold the 23rd round of Special Representatives (SR) talks with his Chinese counterpart and Foreign Minister Wang Yi. During this period, many issues are expected to be discussed to restore bilateral relations after the agreement reached between the two countries on October 21 regarding withdrawal of troops and patrolling from Eastern Ladakh.
China ready to work together with India
Ahead of this important dialogue, China said on Tuesday that it is ready to honor the commitments based on the consensus reached during the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Kazan, Russia on the sidelines of the BRICS summit on October 24. Is ready. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian, when asked about the special representative talks at a press conference, said that China is committed to realizing the important consensus reached between the two leaders (Modi and Xi Jinping), through dialogue and communication and mutual trust and cooperation.
