Rome: The first phase of talks have been held between Iran and America regarding the nuclear deal. Now there is a doubt about where the next round of talks will be. While Italian officials and other sources claimed that the next phase of the talks would be in Rome, on Tuesday morning, Iran announced that the talks will be again in Oman itself.
What did the Italian Foreign Minister say?
Let me tell you that earlier, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani had said in Osaka, Japan that he has received a request to host the meeting through Oman, which he has accepted. The Netherlands Foreign Minister Casper Weldcamp also said in Luxembourg that the next phase of talks between the US and Iran would be held in Rome.
Talks will be held in Oman itself
According to the Iraqi news agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Monday spoke about the conversation in Rome in a conversation with the Iraqi counterpart. However, Iran’s official news agency ‘Irna’ issued a statement on Tuesday morning saying that the talks would be held in Oman itself, but the reason behind it was not clarified.
