Oman will enjoy the sixth round of nuclear dialogue between Iran and America. On Thursday, this was confirmed by Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi. He said that the sixth round of talks between Iran and America on Iran’s fast growing nuclear program will be held later this week. Posting on his official social media platform X, External Affairs Minister Badr al-Busaidi wrote that, “I am happy to confirm that the sixth round of Iran-American talks will be held on Sunday, 15 June in Muscat (Oman).”
Iran had predicted talks for the last several days, but for the first time it has been officially confirmed by the mediated country Oman. But so far no formal statement has come from the United States (US) regarding this talk.
Significantly, this dialogue is considered to be an important attempt to limit Iran’s nuclear program and find diplomatic solutions between the US-Iran. Oman has been playing the role of an intermediary and peacekeeper in such a conversation for a long time.
