12 Indian nationals died in a restaurant in Gudauri, Georgia. It is being told that this accident happened due to carbon monoxide gas.
What happened?
The incident took place at the Gudauri mountain resort, where employees of an Indian restaurant were sleeping on the second floor. After the power failure, a nearby generator was started, and the poisonous gas released from it took his life.

According to Georgia Police, initial investigation has not found any kind of injury or evidence of violence. All died due to carbon monoxide. The generator was running in a closed room, due to which gas filled the room.

The Indian High Commission in Tbilisi said all the deceased were Indian citizens. Expressing condolences, he said that all possible help will be provided to the families.
