The Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group representative, The Resistance Front, has been mentioned for the first time in the UN Security Council (UNSC) report for the role in the Pahalgam attack. This attack is expected to get a force to India’s diplomatic attack against Pakistan -backed border terrorism.
The UNSC monitoring team (MT) report quoted an anonymous member country as saying that the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April could not be done without the support of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) and “LET and The Resistance Front (TRF) had a relationship.”
People familiar with the case said on Wednesday that this development is important, as all decisions of the United Nations Security Council’s 1267 Ban Committee, including reports, are unanimously adopted by the Top Bodies members of the United Nations.
He reminded that the Foreign Minister of Pakistan claimed to have pressurized TRF references to remove TRF references in a UNSC press statement condemning the Pahalgam attack in the Pakistan National Assembly.
On the condition of anonymity, people said that the mention of TRF in the MT report shows how the world sees Pakistan’s “lies and fraudulent statements”.
According to the MT report, the Pahalgam attack was carried out by five terrorists. 26 civilians were killed in this attack. It said, “The same day the attack was taken by The Resistance Front (TRF), who also published a picture of the attack place. The next day the responsibility of the attack was taken again.”
The report also said that TRF withdrew its claim on 26 April and after that no dialogue was made on it. Also, no other group took responsibility.
The report said, “Regional relations are still delicate. There is a danger that terrorist groups can take advantage of these regional tension. A member country has said that the attack was not possible without the support of Lashkar-e-Taiba and there were relations between Lashkar-e-Taiba and TRF.”
It said, “Another member country said that the attack was carried out by TRF, which is synonymous with Lashkar-e-Taiba. A member country rejected these ideas and said that Lashkar-e-Taiba has become inactive.”
Lashkar-e-Taiba, which claims to be inactive, is roughly Pakistan. The work of the 1267 Ban Committee of the United Nations Security Council is to implement sanctions against terrorists, terrorist groups and institutions.
The above people said that the strategy of Pakistan’s potential rejection, in which it used to use “The Resourge Front” and “Pipul’s Against Facials Front” and “Pipul’s Against Facial Fund” to divert attention from Lashkar-e-Mohammed (Jaish-e-Mohammed) terrorist groups and to give indigenous form to their terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir, and to give indigenous form to their terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. It is now “line”.
This is also the first mention of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Pakistan-based terrorist groups in the report since 2019.
One of the above people said, “Despite Pakistan’s efforts to remove TRF, it includes Pakistan’s undisputed involvement in promoting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.”
He said that it also proves our credibility in the United Nations on the anti -terrorism front.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that on Monday, three terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev in Jammu and Kashmir were the same who carried out the Pahalgam attack.
