Pakistan again violated ceasefire in Poonch, Kupwara sector

Continuing violation of the ceasefire agreement, Pakistan opened fire on the Line of Control in Poonch and Kupwara districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday night. Army officials gave this information on Monday.

It was the fourth consecutive night when Pakistan opened fire on the Line of Control without provocation. This firing is being done at a time when the tension between India and Pakistan has increased further after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam last week.

“On the midnight of 27-28 April, on the midnight of April 27-28, near the Kupwara and Poonch districts of Poonch districts, there were small weapons without provoking,” said an army spokesman said. There is no news of any casualty during this time.

Significantly, after this terrorist attack, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi reached Jammu and Kashmir. He has come here to inspect the action and preparation of the security forces. In view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, the Army Chief has held a meeting with senior military commanders here. The army chief reviewed the security situation here.
