Security forces took major action against terrorists in Pakistan (symbolic picture)
Peshawar: Pakistani security forces have killed 11 terrorists in three separate operations in the restive north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Officials have given information about this. According to ‘Inter-Services Public Relations’ (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, these operations were conducted in different areas of the province on 17 and 18 December.
Arms and ammunition recovered
After receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the area, the first operation was launched in Tank district in which seven terrorists were killed. The second operation was launched in Datta Khel of North Waziristan district, where two terrorists were killed. Two more terrorists were killed in Mohmand district. Arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the killed terrorists.

According to a report released by the Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), in the third quarter (July-September) of 2024, people will be killed in terrorist violence in Pakistan and a large number of terrorists will be killed in counter-terrorism operations. There have been incidents of violence. A total of 722 people, including civilians, security personnel and criminals, were killed while 615 others were injured in 328 incidents recorded during this period.
Terrorists were killed earlier also
Earlier in November this year, Pakistan’s security forces had taken major action by launching a major military operation against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan province. Security forces had conducted two operations one after the other in which 12 terrorists were killed. Notorious terrorist Sana alias Baru was also killed in the army action. (Language)
