Information given to Bangladesh about regional tension
The neighboring enemy country has informed Pakistan’s stand due to increasing tension with Bangladesh India. The Foreign Office has given this information on Tuesday. The Foreign Office said that during the conversation held on Monday, Dar informed Hussain about the growing regional tension due to unilateral steps, including ‘baseless allegations and suspension of the Indus Water Treaty,’.
Emphasis on need to reduce stress
The Foreign Office said, “Foreign Affairs advisor expressed concern over the current situation and emphasized the need to exercise restraint and reduce stress.” Both sides confirmed their mutual commitment to further strengthen Pakistan-Bangladesh bilateral relations and emphasized the need to maintain regular high level contacts. Along with this, Pakistan and Bangladesh have also discussed opportunities to increase cooperation on regional and multilateral forums.
Mock drills in many states of India on Wednesday
The Indian Home Ministry has directed to drill mock drills on Wednesday in several states of the country amid increasing tension with Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack. During this time, security personnel, army personnel and emergency service will be active. The citizens of the country have been asked to be alert regarding the mock drill.
