Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar cited a fake news in the Senate to praise his country’s Air Force, which he claimed to be published in the British daily ‘The Daily Telegraph’. Dar said that the newspaper has written in the context of the recent Indo-Pak struggle that “the Pakistani Air Force has established an undisputed reign in the sky.” However, this claim was made by the fact that ‘Don’ newspaper and termed it completely fabricated. According to Dawn’s report, a fake front page has been going viral on social media since May 10, 2025, in which the Pakistan Air Force has been described as “Sky’s undisputed king” on the first page of ‘The Daily Telegraph’.

A news title was given in the picture of this alleged newspaper: “Pakistan Air Force: The Sky’s Undisputed King” was first shared by Barrister Khadija Siddiqui on his social media account. After this, on May 11, Ikhtiyar Wali Khan, the information coordinator of the Prime Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, also posted it on Facebook.

In the investigation of ‘Don’, it was revealed that ‘The Daily Telegraph’ did not publish any such article. The picture going viral is a digitally edited image, which was deliberately designed to spread wrong information.
