Pakistan: Major action by army in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, 12 terrorists killed –

Peshawar: Pakistan’s security forces have taken major action by launching a major military operation against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan province. Security forces conducted two operations one after the other in which 12 terrorists were killed. The army has given information about the military operation on Wednesday. The army is viewing this operation against terrorists as a major action.

Pakistan Army took action

The army said the first operation was launched on November 12 and 13 in Miranshah district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and eight terrorists were killed in an encounter in North Waziristan area. Six terrorists have also been injured in this encounter. According to Pakistan Army’s media wing ‘Inter-Services Public Relations’ (ISPR), in the second operation, security forces have targeted an alleged terrorist hideout in Balagat in Kech district of Balochistan.

Notorious terrorist killed

According to ISPR, four terrorists were killed in Army action in Balagat, including notorious terrorist Sana alias Baru. The Army said Baru was a key agent recruiting terrorists for the ‘Majeed Brigade’ in Kech. He was particularly involved in the recruitment of ‘suicide bombers’. His name was also listed in the wanted list of the law enforcement agency. (Language)
