Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Islamabad: Pakistan, which is already troubled by poverty and misery, has now embarked on the path of drinking ghee by taking loans. This time Pakistan has asked for a huge loan of 20 billion US dollars from the World Bank. Let us tell you that Pakistan’s economy has been in a bad state for the last several years. Pakistanis are about to die of hunger. Pakistan has taken loans from many countries like China, Russia, America, Saudi Arabia, but its poverty has not gone away yet. Therefore, now Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken the path of drinking ghee by taking loan.

The meaning is clearly that take a loan, enjoy the money and forget to return it. The reason for this is that Pakistan already has a lot of debt. It is not able to repay even most of the loan installments, but now the World Bank is in the process of approving a symbolic loan package of US $ 20 billion for Pakistan. Giving this information, a media report said that this is a pioneering 10-year initiative, which will protect World Bank-funded projects from political changes and focus on six target areas. ,

World Bank may give approval in next 10 days

The programme, titled ‘Pakistan Country Partnership Framework 2025-35’, aims to improve social indicators in the most neglected but important sectors, The Express Tribune newspaper reported, citing official documents. This ‘Country Partnership Framework’ is to be approved by the World Bank Board on January 14, after which the global lender’s South Asia Vice President Martin Reiser is also expected to visit Islamabad.
