Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif
Karachi: Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Balochistan province on Thursday to review law and order, to express solidarity with the people there after the Jaffer Express Hijack. 21 civilians and 4 soldiers were killed in the train hijack incident. The visit of Sharif took place a day after killing all 33 rebels of the Balochistan Liberation Army, who hijacked the Jaffer Express.

Sharif along with Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Isaac Dar, Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Ataullah Tarar, Federal Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Science and Technology Minister Nawabjada Mir Khalid Magsi and others also reached Baluchistan. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif on Thursday accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by former Prime Minister Imran Khan of politicizing the incident and incorrectly presenting the incident on social media. Asif said, “We need to rise above political interests (on such occasions) national unity.”
‘Will succeed in war’
On the campaign on the Jafar Express, the minister said, “A lot of people could have been casualties, but the security forces wiped out the terrorists.” The minister said, “Our fight against terrorism is a big achievement on which the whole country can take pride. If the whole country stands proudly with our armed forces, then there is no doubt that we (against terrorism) will be successful in our war. ”
