Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif termed the missile attacks by India on terrorist bases in Punjab province and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) as ‘war action’ and said that his country has full right to give a ‘befitting reply’ to his country.
The Indian Army said that in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian armed forces carried out missile attacks in the early hours of Wednesday, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, from where terrorist attacks were conspired and implemented against India.
According to the news of ‘Geo News’, Pakistani Army spokesperson Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary said that at least eight people were killed and 35 others were injured in the Indian armed forces missile attacks at various cities in Punjab province and PoK.
Prime Minister Sharif said that India have attacked five places in Pakistan. He said in a statement, “Pakistan has every right to give a befitting reply to this act of war carried out by India and in reality it is being given a strong reply.”
Sharif said that his armed forces “know very well how to deal with the enemy.” He said, “We will never let the enemy succeed in his nefarious intentions.” Sharif has called a meeting of the National Security Council at 10 am.
Pakistan has closed its airspace for the next 48 hours for all aerial operations.
