Police arrested PTI workers in Punjab, Pakistan
Lahore: Police in Pakistan’s Punjab province raided the offices and houses of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party leaders and arrested more than 12 of its workers. This action has been taken after the party’s announcement to resume political activities. More than 12 PTI activists including Murri District General Secretary Safdar Zaman Satti have been arrested.

Alia Hamza, the leading organizer in Basra and PTI Punjab, has shared several videos on social media, in which the arbitrariness of the police is clearly visible. Hamza said that the Punjab government is only busy with a large -scale advertising campaign to promote its fake and false figures of growth in the economy. He said that the army -backed ‘mandate thieves’ have established the rule of terror on the public.
