According to an official instructions from the Directorate of Civil Protection, Deputy Commissioners and Civil Protection Officers have been ordered to instantly siren and submit the progress report. The purpose of the siren is to provide timely alert to the public in the event of air strikes, so that citizens can visit safe places.

Major urban centers like Abbottabad and Mardan have been instructed to install at least four sirens due to their large population. More than 50 modern electric sirens have already been distributed to district administrations for immediate deployment. The official letter emphasizes that it has become necessary to install sirens due to the present.
It is being told that districts, cities, cities and towns like Peshawar, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Malakand, Charsadda, Kohat, Naushera, South Waziristan, Bajaur, Khyber and Orakzai will be strategically installed. Officials said that this system will play an important role in saving people’s lives by issuing timely alert in front of dangers.
