The process of resignations from Pakistan’s army continues.
Islamabad: The terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has brought the tension between India and Pakistan to the peak. After this attack, India has started preparing for a large scale action against Pakistan. Land, Akash and Sea, India’s army has devised a strategy to surround Pakistan on all three fronts. Meanwhile, there is an atmosphere of panic in Pakistan due to India’s action on the border, and it has shut down aircraft between Islamabad to Lahore till 30 April.
‘India can attack anytime’
Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Asif has said that India can attack his country anytime. He claimed that Pakistan is on high alert and nuclear weapons will be used only when there is a direct threat to their country’s existence. Asif also said that there may be a war between India and Pakistan in two to four days. However, Asif later overturned from his statement and said that he did not predict war within 3 days, but said that the next three to four days were important.
Rajnath Singh meets PM Modi
India has taken a tough stand after this attack. On Sunday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and gave updates to the army preparations. The meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. Earlier, Rajnath Singh had a long meeting with Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan. According to sources, Rajnath Singh informed the PM about the strategy and preparations for military action against Pakistan. Prime Minister Modi has made it clear that the terrorists of terror will be mixed with soil.
India’s stampede in Pakistani army due to India’s attitude
Pakistan’s army has caused a stampede due to India’s possible attack. Lieutenant General Omar Ahmed Bukhari wrote a letter to Army Chief Asim Munir, saying that in the last 72 hours, 1450 soldiers have resigned, including 250 officers rank officials. Since the Pahalgam attack, around 5,000 personnel and officers have left the Pakistani army so far. 520 from 12th Corps Quetta, 380 from Force Command Northern Area, and 550 soldiers from first core Mangla have resigned.
Pakistani leader sending families out
The fear of India’s action is clearly visible among the leaders of Pakistan. Many leaders are sending their families out of the country. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has resorted to China to hide his nefarious antics. It is believed that after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, many big officers of the Pakistani Army have also sent their families out of Pakistan. Pakistan’s army does not seem to get special support from Awam this time, while the Army is appealing for repeated support.
