Parachinar: There is a terrorist attack in Pakistan again. Terrorists have ambushed the security forces responding to the first attack on trucks carrying relief materials of Pakistani army in the turbulent north-west region. Four Pakistani soldiers have been killed in the shootout during this time. Officials have given information about this on Tuesday.
Attack in Kurram district
The attack occurred a few hours after the officials sent additional force in response to the attack on the convoy of trucks carrying relief material in Kurram district of the disturbed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. A driver and security officer were killed in the attack on trucks. Officials said some security personnel were also injured in an overnight attack in Kurram. In recent months, at least 130 people have died in clashes between Shia and Sunni tribes.
Trucks robbed and burnt
Officials said several trucks going towards the main city of Kurram were robbed and burnt. Kaiser Abbas, a doctor at a hospital in Parachinar, said that he found the bodies of four soldiers from Kurram on Monday night. At the same time, officials said that a large -scale campaign was being planned to catch the culprits of the attacks.
Nobody took responsibility
At the moment, no group has claimed responsibility for this attack, but Sunni militants are being doubted. Some parts of Kurram are dominated by Shia Muslims, although they are minorities in the remaining parts of Pakistan, where Sunni is majority. There is a history of communal conflict in this region.
