The Pakistan Embassy in the United Arab Emirates organized the “Pakistani Mango Festival 2025” at the Le Royal Meridien Hotel in Abu Dhabi on Monday in collaboration with the Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF). This grand event was present by the distinguished guests, including Amirati dignitaries, diplomats, prominent personalities of the world and members of the lively Pakistani community living in the UAE.
The major organizer of this festival, Dr. Muhammad Farhan, started the program and expressed special thanks to Pakistan’s Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi and Pakistan Embassy, whose continuous cooperation was successfully concluded. In his address, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi in the UAE of Pakistan said that Pakistan is fourth in the world in common production and its mangoes are famous for their special taste, fragrance and diverse varieties. He also mentioned that about 60% of Pakistan’s common exports go to Gulf countries, reflecting their extreme popularity in the Middle East.
Faisal Niaz Tirmizi further stressed that cultural and promotional programs like the common festival play an important role in improving the image of Pakistan and promoting international harmony.
He said, “This type of festival not only shows Pakistan’s agricultural excellence, but also strengthens mutual relations between the people of Pakistan and the UAE.”
The guests who came to the program had the opportunity to see and taste a grand exhibition of the best common varieties of Pakistan, which was giving a glimpse of the country’s rich agricultural heritage through taste, fragrance and colors.
