Citing the data released by Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies, ‘Don’ newspaper said that 91 people died in at least 74 terrorist attacks across the country, including 35 security personnel, 20 civilians and 36 terrorists. . At the same time, the list of 117 injured includes 53 security forces personnel, 54 civilians and 10 terrorists.

The report said that security forces killed 185 terrorists in January in anti -terrorism operations. With this, January has become the second most deadly month in the case of terrorists being killed. Since 2016, the highest number of militants killed in a month had been in December 2024, when 190 terrorists were killed by security forces. In January, a total of 245 people died in terrorist attacks and security forces campaigns, including 185 terrorists, 40 security personnel and 20 citizens.
