Bomb blast in Pakistan, nine people died
Two bomb blasts occurred near the wall of a military base on Tuesday evening at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Two suicidal attackers carried out bomb blasts to break the military base wall, giving other attackers a chance to attack the premises. According to a report by the Associated Press, at least nine people were killed and 35 injured in a clash with security forces along with the attackers. Attankists broke away security at Bannu Cantonment of Bannu province just after Iftar in the month of Ramadan and targeted the cantonment.
Fear of terrorist attack
According to sources, it is believed that the terrorist group Jaish ul Firan, who recently joined hands with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has carried out the attack. After the explosions in the alleged scenes of the attack on social media, dense smoke is seen rising in the sky, while the sound of bullets is also heard in the background.
Sources said two to six terrorists used two suicide car bombs (SVBIED) simultaneously to distract attention along with this attack. On 28 February, a top Taliban Maulvi, Hamidul Haq Haqqani and four were killed and 20 others were injured in an explosion by a suicide bomber in a madrasa in a madrasa in the same province.
Four children are also included in those who died
The army has not confirmed any casualties immediately, but Bannu District Hospital said that at least nine people have been killed in this blast. According to police officer Zahid Khan, brown smoke woke up in the air and the sound of bullets was heard after the explosions. Hospital officials said that there were four children among those who died.
