Islamabad: Pakistan once again trembled with earthquake tremors. On Thursday morning, an earthquake of 4.4 magnitude was felt in different parts of the country, causing panic among the people. Suddenly, due to the moving earth, there was chaos in many areas and people came out of their homes and offices and ran towards open places. It is being told that the center of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km above the ground.
Although there is no news of loss of life and property till now, fear and concern have been clearly seen among the people. According to local media reports, people in many cities were in mosques at the time of namaz, when the land started moving. People came out of fear and stayed in the open fields for some time.
Repeated earthquakes in Pakistan
For the last few days, there are frequent earthquake tremors in Pakistan. Earthquake activities are continuously seen in the hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. According to experts, Pakistan is located on an active tectonic zone, where frequent earthquakes occur due to a conflict of Indian and Eurasian plates.
