The Pakistani Army said on Monday that ‘Operation Bunyan-e-Marsus’, ‘Mark-e-Haq’ (Battle of Truth) began after the Indian attacks in Pakistan.
In response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, India launched accurate attacks on terrorist bases on 6 May under the ‘Operation Sindoor’.
After Indian action, Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on May 8, 9 and 10.
India and Pakistan reached a consent on Saturday to end the struggle after drone and missile attacks from across the border for four days.
The Pakistani Army said in a statement on Monday that the military struggle was run on May 10 under the ‘Mark-e-Haq’, ‘Operation Bunyan-e-Marsus’ (iron wall), which was carried out in response to the Indian attacks that began on the interiors of May 6 and 7.
The army reported that many civilians died in the Indian attack. According to the army, ‘Mark-e-Haq’ is the official name given to the comprehensive struggle that lasted from 22 April to 10 May, while ‘Operation Bonyan-e-Marsus’ was the name given to the military campaign launched on 10 May.
This said, “Pakistan vowed justice and vengeance for the condemnable military invasion of India and Pakistan armed forces have fulfilled the promise made to our people.”
The army thanked the diplomats for effectively presenting Pakistan’s case on international forums “with” clarity and strong confidence “.
It also expressed gratitude to scientists and engineers, who developed ‘indigenous and specific niche techniques’, which helped in the superb success of operation.
The army also praised the political leadership of all political parties without any discrimination to show united resolve in support of the defense of the country.
