Earlier, travelers could stay in China only for 72 to 144 hours after their visa expired. But now they have been given 10 days time for this. This means that after the expiry of the visa, the travelers will now be able to stay tension free for about 240 hours. But the condition is that to avail the benefit of this policy, passengers must have a confirmed ticket to go out of China within 10 days. Travelers have been allowed entry at 60 places in 24 states including Beijing and Shanghai.
