PM Modi Interacted with Top Business Leaders and CEOs in Singapore
PM Narendra Modi Singapore Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Business Leaders Summit in Singapore. During this, the PM said, “We are focusing on skill development in India. This is my third term. Those who are familiar with India will know that after 60 years a government has got the mandate for the third time. The reason behind this is the people’s faith in the policies of my government. If there is a fastest growing aviation sector in the world, it is in India. MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) is our priority. You (businesses) should come to India to invest in the development of airports.”
‘We are moving fast in the field of semiconductors’
“We are moving ahead with predictable and progressive policies. There is political stability in India. We are moving fast in the field of semiconductors. We are going to create a whole ecosystem in this field. Startups are growing very fast in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India,” PM Modi said during the Business Leaders Summit in Singapore.
Skill development is linked to the global job market
PM Modi said, “Along with India’s needs, skill development is also connected to the global job market. If your companies survey what is happening globally, analyze the global demand and come to India for skill development accordingly, then you can easily tap the global job market.” He said, “India has talent and the world will benefit from it. 50 percent of the real-time transactions in the world take place in India alone. If you want to become a global leader in the world of fintech, then by making India the center point, you can easily come ahead in the world of fintech.”
India is working in the field of energy
Speaking on biofuel at the Business Leaders Summit, PM Modi said, “We have set a target of 500 gigawatts and we have to achieve it by 2030. India wants to focus on nuclear, hydro, solar and wind. We have also made a policy for biofuel and India wants to lead in this.”
Important deal between India and Singapore
Meanwhile, let us also tell you here that during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Singapore, a deal has been struck between the two countries regarding partnership in the semiconductor field. The agreement in the field of semiconductors was signed in the presence of the Prime Ministers of both the countries. Now after this agreement, the way for the entry of Singapore’s semiconductor companies in India will become easier. According to the official statement issued by the Singapore government on Thursday, the MoU was exchanged in the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Both the countries have named this agreement as India Singapore Semiconductor Ecosystem Partnership.
