Bangladesh acting Mohammad Yunus gave a special picture to PM Modi.
Bangkok: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a meeting with Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh. During this, PM Modi clearly apprised Yunus about India’s concerns about the safety of minorities including Hindus in Bangladesh. Not only this, PM Modi instructed Yunus that Balagadeshus should avoid any rhetoric that spoil the atmosphere. Prime Minister Modi said that the security of Hindus and minorities is the responsibility of Bangladesh and it has to be fulfilled.
Let us know that PM Modi underlined India’s support for India’s support for “Bay of Bengal Bay Multi -sector and Technical Cooperation Initiative (BIMSTEC)” summit. At the meeting, Younus also raised issues of extradition and killings on the border of the disabled Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. This was the first meeting between Modi and Yunus after Hasina was overthrown in August last year.

Prime Minister Modi told Yunus that it is necessary to strictly follow the law and to prevent the illegal border, especially at night, border security and stability. India is committed to creative and public relations with Bangladesh. “The Prime Minister said,” I reiterated India’s support for peace, stability, inclusion and democracy in Bangladesh. Discussed measures to prevent incidents of crossing illegal border and expressed our serious concern for the safety and goodness of Hindus and other minorities. ”Prime Minister Modi also underlined India’s public-centered approach towards relations and said that people have benefited from cooperation between the two countries. On the issue of attacks on minorities in Bangladesh, Modi said that he hoped that the Bangladesh government would ensure their security and conduct a thorough investigation into cases of atrocities against them. The Prime Minister congratulated Younus on Bimstech’s heading of Bimstech and hoped that the stage would further enhance regional cooperation under his leadership. According to an official statement, “The leaders agreed to increase consultation and cooperation to carry forward regional integration under the BIMSTEC structure.” Prime Minister Modi expressed confidence that all issues of mutual interest between the two countries would be resolved through creative discussion based on their long -term and mutually beneficial bilateral relations.
Yunus gives special picture to PM Modi
Yunus’s ‘X’ official handle shared a picture soon after the meeting with Modi in which the chief of the interim government was seen presenting a picture to Prime Minister Modi. The ‘X’ post with this said, “This picture is to provide a gold medal to Professor Yunus by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the 102nd Indian Science Congress on January 3, 2015.” Hasina’s government had fallen for more than 15 years on August 5 last year as a result of the mass protests led by students last year. Three days later, Younus took over as the Chief Advisor to the Interim Government. The relations between India and Bangladesh have been witnessing a decline since then, as Delhi has expressed concern over the violence targeting Hindus and the emergence of radical Islamic forces there.
