PM Modi leaves for Thailand
Bangkok: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Thailand for a two -day visit on Thursday. During his visit, PM Modi will hold talks with Thailand’s Prime Minister Partagatarn Shinavatra and will attend the sixth BIMSTEC summit. Leaders of Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar and Bhutan will attend this conference. At the BIMSTEC summit, PM Modi will meet Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Bangladesh Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus and Myanmar’s military join leader Min Aung Having and other leaders including other leaders.
PM Modi will also go to Sri Lanka
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal posted on X, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Thailand and Sri Lanka. The Prime Minister will make an official visit to Thailand and attend the sixth BIMSTEC summit. After that, he will go on a state visit to Sri Lanka.”
PM Modi will meet the king and queen of Thailand
PM Modi will also meet Raja Maha Waziralongcorn of Thailand (also known as Rama Tenth) and Rani Suthida. Modi and Thailand’s Prime Minister Shinavatra will visit Watt Pho, one of the top six temples in Thailand. This place is famous for the huge statue of Buddha lying. In addition to the huge statue of lying Buddha, this temple is also famous for innumerable Buddha statues around them. It was the first center for public education in Thailand, where science, religion and literature courses were available.

The Prime Minister will attend the BIMSTEC summit on Friday morning, where the group is expected to accept ‘Bangkok Vision 2030’. External Affairs Permanent Secretary Exiri Pintaruchi in the Government of Thailand said that ‘active, flexible and open BIMSTEC’ is the main attraction of the regional group headed by Thailand. The purpose of the ‘Vision’ document is to set a clear direction and goal for BIMSTEC cooperation, identifying major preferences to achieve these goals, promoting BIMSTEC as the area of peace, stability and economic stability and to increase cooperation to reduce the effects of climate change.
