Denmark Prime Minister Mete Frederickson
Oslo: Amid reports of Greenland’s intelligence collecting intelligence from the US, Denmark Prime Minister Mete Frederickson has made a big statement. Frederickson advised the US, saying, “You cannot spy against any colleague.” Greenland is a semi-late area of Denmark, on which US President Donald Trump is eyeing.
This thing said in the report
A report by ‘Wall Street Journal’ states that a meeting was held under the leadership of Tulsi Gabbard, a US National Intelligence Director. In this meeting, the officials had instructed the intelligence agency heads to gather more information about the people’s sentiments about Greenland’s independence movement and exploitation of American resources there. Denmark summoned the top American diplomat in his country and sought clarification on this report from him.
What did Tulsi Gabbard’s office say
The newspaper cited two officials familiar with the US move, whose identity has not been revealed. In response to the questions asked about the ‘Journal’ report, Gabbard’s office said in a statement, “Wall Street Journal should be ashamed to help the elements who want to weaken the President by leaking intelligence and politics.” The statement said, “They are breaking the laws and weakening our country’s security and democracy. Those who leak confidential information will be discovered and will be held completely accountable under the law. ”
