Hague: Former Philippines President Rodrigo Dutarte has been detained by the International Crime Court (ICC). Now allegations of anti -human crime related to anti -narcotic action will be prosecuted while holding the post against him. The court said in a statement that medical assistance was provided as a precautionary measure at the airport for Duterte, as per the standard procedures when the suspect arrived.
Explain that after the ICC order in a crime case against humanity, the police of the Philippines arrested former President Rodrigo Dutarte at the International Airport in Manila on Tuesday. The warrant was issued by the International Crime Court against Dutarte in this case. Families of various rights groups and victims appreciated the arrest of Dutarte and the court’s chief prosecutor, Karim Khan called it “an important step in our constant work to ensure accountability for the victims of the most serious offenses under the ICC jurisdiction”.

Dutert’s supporters criticized the administration of the current Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos for arresting their former leader and surrendering in a court. The 79 -year -old President reached the Netherlands from a flight from Manila, where he was arrested on Tuesday at the request of the ICC. The Dutch-based court said in a statement that medical assistance was provided to the dutarte as a precaution as per the standard procedures when the suspect arrives.
