The Easter of Pope Francis i.e. on Monday, at the age of 88, took place at his residence in Santa Santa Marta, Vatican. Vatican gave this information in a statement.

At 7:35 am today, the bishop of Rome returned to the Francis father’s house. Taught to live together, especially in favor of the poorest and most marginalized people. With immense gratitude for the Lord Jesus, we dedicate to the soul of Pope Francis to another trinity of God for the infinite compassionate love of God.
Earlier on Sunday, the Pope gave his Easter message to thousands of people collected from the balcony of St. Peters Basilica in the Vatican Square.
The 88 -year -old head of the Roman Catholic Church was recently discharged from Jameli Hospital in Rome, where he had treated an infection for five weeks, causing him double pneumonia. On the Easter Sunday, he was able to bless the city and the world “Urbi at Orbi”.
Only the Pope can bless this, including forgiveness of the effects of sins, ie sins. The Pope’s official X handle said on Sunday, “Christ has risen! These words reflect the entire meaning of our existence, because we are designed not for death, but for life.”
According to the Vatican News reported, Archprest Emeritus of St. Peters Basilica and Wicker General Emeritus Cardinal Angelo Komastri of the Vatican City led the prayer in the square and presented the discourse of the Pope Francis prepared for the occasion.
Pope Francis dedicated his Easter ahead of Obbi Message to the call of worldwide peace, global disarmament and prisoners’ release. Pope Francis was the first pope of Jesuit order and was the first pope from outside Europe since the 8th century.
He was born as George Mario Bergoglyo in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was appointed a Catholic pastor in 1969. Following the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI on 28 February 2013, a Pope conference on 13 March chose Cardinal Bergoglio as his successor. He chose Francis as his Pope name in honor of Saint Francis of Asi.
Now nine days of official mourning will be celebrated, after which Cardinals will attend the conference to choose the new Pastor of Christ.
