Vatican Rome: Pope Francis was admitted to a hospital in Rome after his health deteriorated on Friday. Along with this, all his programs were canceled. Now the hospital has issued the health bulletin of Pope Francis as their condition. According to doctors, he was admitted to a hospital in Rome to treat ‘bronchitis’. According to the Vatican, all their programs till at least Monday have been canceled due to Pope (88) hospitalization.
In the bulletin on Friday evening, the Vatican said that preliminary investigation showed that Pope Francis has an infection in the respiratory system and has a mild fever, but his condition is “fine”. Francis came to know about being ‘bronchitis’ on February 6, but continued to meet people daily in his ‘suite’ at the Vatican Hotel. He met some people before going to the hospital on Friday, during which his stomach appeared bloated and his face appeared yellow.
Surgery was done in this hospital a year ago
Francis has been admitted to Jameli Hospital in Rome, where he was surgery in June 2023 due to health problems. A few months before that, he was hospitalized for three days. Vatican said Francis was admitted to the hospital after Friday’s meetings. The Pope also met Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico and CNN chief Mark Thompson on Friday morning. (AP)
