Beijing: The conflict between China and Taiwan is increasing. China has once again taken a big step against Taiwan. China has launched a joint military exercise on Tuesday in its surrounding areas to claim its sovereignty on Taiwan. Many of its forces have participated in this military exercise being conducted by China. The purpose of this practice is to give Taiwan’s “strict warning to those forces” which call themselves autonomous.
What did China’s army say?
A spokesman for the ‘Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command’ said that the command began a joint exercise around Taiwan Island on Tuesday. Senior Colonel Xi Yi, spokesperson of ‘Theater Command’, quoted the government news agency ‘Xinhua’ as saying that the command has organized its Army, Navy, Air Force and rocket forces to reach the Taiwan Island from several directions.

What is the purpose of China?
According to Xi, the exercise is mainly focused on major areas and sea routes to test patrolling, excellent joint exercises, attacks on maritime and ground goals for maritime and air war. Xi said that this practice is a strict warning against “the separatist forces of Taiwan’s independence” and a legitimate and necessary action to protect China’s sovereignty and national unity.
