What is the whole matter?
In fact, Hunter Biden was sued by the US Justice Department in which he has been accused of not paying taxes worth 1.4 million US dollars. However, Joe Biden’s son Hunter took a surprising step and accepted the charges just hours after jury selection began in a federal court in Los Angeles.
Provision of punishment up to 17 years
Hunter Biden immediately admitted that he was guilty after the judge read out the nine charges related to the tax case. There is a provision of a sentence of up to 17 years under these charges. The federal sentencing guidelines provide for a much lesser sentence. Hunter will be sentenced on December 16 in the tax case. Earlier in June, Hunter Biden was convicted in a gun-related case. He may soon be sentenced in this case as well.
Allegations of Russian interference in the election
On the other hand, Russia’s interference in the US presidential election to be held in November has shaken the White House. The US alleges that Russia is making every effort to create disturbances in the presidential election.
