Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated him on Sunday and said that he was excited to continue working with him. Wong’s team People’s Action Party (PAP) on Saturday won a landslide victory in Singapore general elections by winning 87 seats out of 97 parliamentary seats. He will take power again in Singapore. There is a strong and multi -faceted partnership between India and Singapore which is based on mutual relations between people. ”

There are 27,58,846 registered voters in the country. This was the 19th general election since the first general election in Singapore in 1948.
