Seoul: The troubles of former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol are going to increase further. Charge sheet has been filed against him. Let us tell you that the prosecutors filed this charge sheet on Sunday against Yoon Suk Yeol, who was removed from the post of President through impeachment for imposing military rule last month.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office has charged Yoon with rebellion in connection with a Dec. 3 order that sparked widespread political turmoil in the country, Yonhap news agency reported. Other media organizations in South Korea have also published similar news. Multiple attempts were made to contact prosecutors for comment, but could not be reached.

Yoon Suk was removed from the post of President through impeachment

Yoon was arrested after being removed from the presidency through impeachment for ordering the imposition of military rule. The Constitutional Court is separately considering whether Yun should be officially dismissed from the presidency or reinstated. Conservative leader Yoon, however, has strongly rejected the allegations against him. While issuing the order to impose military rule, Yun had described the National Assembly as a “den of hooligans”. He also pledged to eliminate “North Korean supporters and anti-national forces.” (AP)
