A Russian intelligence agency said on Wednesday it has detained a suspect in the murder of a senior general in Moscow. He is being interrogated. According to the intelligence agency, the arrested suspect is a citizen of Uzbekistan, who was recruited by the Ukrainian intelligence service. Ukraine had taken responsibility for the murder
A day before the assassination of the Russian general, Ukraine’s security service had filed criminal charges against Kirillov. A Ukrainian official had said that the security service carried out this attack. Kirillov was head of the army’s nuclear, biological and chemical security forces.
