Russia launched missile attack on Ukraine
Kyiv: War continues between Russia and Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia carried out a deadly attack on Zaporozhye city in southern Ukraine on Wednesday. At least 13 civilians were killed and dozens were injured in the missile attack by Russia. A local official has given information about this attack.

Footage posted on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Telegram channel showed bodies of civilians lying on the road amid piles of debris. The injured were being treated by emergency services personnel. Regional governor Ivan Fedorov said at least 13 civilians were killed in the attack. Minutes before the attack he had warned of the danger of ‘high-speed missiles’ and ‘glide bombs’ being fired into the Zaporozhye region.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s military said on Wednesday it attacked a fuel storage depot inside Russia, causing a massive fire at the depot. This fuel storage depot supplies an important base of the Russian Air Force. Russian officials acknowledged a major drone strike in the area and said authorities had set up an emergency command center to control the fire.
What did the General Staff of Ukraine say
Ukraine’s General Staff said the attack took place at a storage facility near Engels in Russia’s Saratov region, about 600 kilometers east of the Ukrainian border. Ukraine’s General Staff said in a statement on social media platform Facebook that the depot supplied supplies to a nearby airfield, which is used by aircraft that fire missiles into Ukraine across the border.
