Russia Ukraine War: The Russian army is becoming increasingly aggressive in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainian officials said on Monday that Russia carried out multiple drone strikes targeting Kiev for the second consecutive night, causing damage to residential buildings. There is also news of at least one civilian being injured in these attacks carried out by Russia.

“Another night, another worry, the enemy is carrying out airstrikes on Ukraine and Kiev,” Kiev’s military administration chief Serhiy Popko said on the Telegram messaging app. Popko said about 10 drones that had attacked the city multiple times and from different directions had been destroyed. He said that no drone hit its target.

Meanwhile, Russia’s air defense system shot down more than 100 Ukrainian drones in the western region of the country on Sunday. This information has been given by Russian officials. The Russian Defense Ministry said that 110 drones sent towards seven regions of Russia were shot down last night. The ministry said most of the drones targeted the Russian border area of Kurx, where 43 drones were reported shot down.

In a statement on social media, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia had launched about 800 targeted aerial bombs and more than 500 attack drones on Ukraine last week. “Every day, Russia attacks our cities and communities,” he said. This is a deliberate terrorist act by the enemy against our people.
America is helping
