Abu Dhabi: India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar is on a three -day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The purpose of Jaishankar’s visit is to further India’s widespread strategic partnership with the influential Gulf country like UAE. Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister has met the diplomatic advisor of the UAE President. Regarding the meeting, Jaishankar posted on the social media forum X and said, “It was nice to meet Anwar Mohammad Gargash, the diplomatic advisor of the UAE President this morning. Our special partnership and its further progress were discussed.”
Jaishankar mentions BAPS Hindu Temple
Jaishankar, while discussing some achievements of bilateral relations, said that the Cast Economic Partnership Agreement has increased trade and investment. Local currency trading system and fintech mechanisms have been notable. He said that BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi has emerged as a symbol of pluralism, harmony and tolerance.

Jaishankar had said, “When we see a global scenario, there are many things that bring the two countries together. I can say with confidence that our cooperation in international forums will be stronger. ”The minister emphasized that the number of Indians calling the UAE its second home was 25 lakhs in 2015, which is now more than 40 lakhs.
